Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer (Combat) - Early Career. In this role, you will design, integrate, and test Command, Control and Communications (C3) systems. C3 systems perform multiple critical functions such as radar and sensor management, track filtering, track management including correlation/association, control of multiple communication links, threat evaluation and prioritization, and command of weapon systems for target engagement or assignment.

  • Bachelor of science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent.
  • Strong foundation in systems engineering principles, including allocation, tracing, and authoring; system design and algorithm development; data analysis of simulation and test data; and system integration and test.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or similar programming or scripting language.
  • Familiarity with UNIX OS.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Experience with model-based system engineering using SysML (activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.).
  • Knowledge of algorithm development, data analysis, and system test.
  • Experience with formal requirements verification, test procedure and test script development, and root cause analysis and resolution of defects.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Git.
  • Experience with system integration and testing, and interfacing with software teams to communicate designs and troubleshoot issues.
