About The Position

The Leidos Spatial Solutions team has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer with Citrix/NetScaler and Windows system administration experience to work on cloud-based systems supporting mission critical operations. The team is involved in the operation and sustainment of multiple operational cloud deployed geospatial solutions including dozens of virtual desktops. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and have experience with installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of cloud-based systems and the administration of Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure within the cloud. Primary Responsibilities Primary responsibilities will involve managing the virtual desktop infrastructure across multiple environments and systems while supporting a program level team; working directly with government and contractor POCs to troubleshoot and responding to complex user INCs (Incident Reports); proactively recommend configuration changes to help improve system performance; Deploy security patches and bug fixes to test and operational environments; author and update operational and security documentation, including troubleshooting guides and SOPs. Basic Qualifications Requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 6 years of experience in lieu of degree Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire DOD 8140 Certification (Security+ or equivalent or higher) Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Windows administration experience Experience completing configuration remediation tasks based on security scans Citrix/NetScaler administration experience Demonstrated knowledge of the systems development life cycle Proficient in software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualized environment. Understanding of network administration topics such as subnetting, virtual private clouds, firewalls, and data flows Experience with AWS architectures and technologies Familiar with Amazon Web Services (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.) Familiar with Git/GitLab or other source code control tools Familiar with System Engineering documentation creation (VDDs, diagrams, etc.) Familiar with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence) Additional tasks as assigned Preferred Qualifications Experience providing systems engineering support for geospatial products Citrix certification(s) Desktop Virtualization experience F5 Administration Active Directory Group Policy experience PowerShell development SAFe Agile Certification AWS certification (e.g. Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer) If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling. Requirements
