About The Position
The Systems Engineer - Battery Pack & Functional Safety at Ample will be responsible for leading functional safety efforts in the design and development of battery packs for electric vehicles. This role involves working in a cross-functional environment to ensure compliance with functional safety standards, particularly ISO 26262, and to create safe and reliable systems for battery swapping technology. The engineer will derive technical safety requirements, compose system architecture specifications, and perform risk analyses to mitigate hazards associated with battery systems.
