About The Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: The Autonomous Maritimes Platforms Systems Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated engineer to join our team and become a member of a skilled cross functional team responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of advanced autonomous systems. As a member of our team, you will be on the cutting edge of design and integration of advanced maritime systems, embedded electronics, and autonomy. Leveraging the Bluefin Robotics Autonomous Underwater Vehicle platform to design, develop, and test new novel concepts and mission solutions What you bring to the table: Academic multi-discipline background in Autonomy, Mechanical Design, and Control Systems Experience integrating assemblies and subsystems into system level solutions Requirements analysis, definition, management, validation and verification, test procedure creation and execution Generation of technical engineer design products through use of applicable standards, best practices, and tools throughout the systems development life cycle. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
  • Academic multi-discipline background in Autonomy, Mechanical Design, and Control Systems
  • Experience integrating assemblies and subsystems into system level solutions
  • Requirements analysis, definition, management, validation and verification, test procedure creation and execution
  • Generation of technical engineer design products through use of applicable standards, best practices, and tools throughout the systems development life cycle.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
  • U.S. citizenship is required
