About The Position

The Boeing Company BGS Digital Aviation & Analytics Organization is looking for a Systems Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level, Senior) with a background in mechanical systems, electrical systems, or cross functional systems integration to join our team in the Washington State Puget Sound to help support the delivery of predictive maintenance alerts to airlines around the world. The Airplane Health Monitoring (AHM) Predictive Maintenance Engineering team is a BGS program currently engaged with over 100 airlines (and growing) that uses in-service flight data to provide valuable insights on the airplane system health that facilitate faster and more efficient maintenance planning. The primary platform for this is the AHM product, which is a web-based tool that is an access point for operator personnel (Maintenance Controllers, Reliability Engineers, and Predictive Maintenance Engineers) and internal Boeing users (Data Scientists, Service Engineers, Design Engineers). This role would help develop features and content in the AHM tool as well as other products in a family of related products. This position gives an engineer the opportunity to turn the deep system design knowledge available within Boeing into predictive maintenance alerts and other data-based features that directly support customers' ability to optimize their maintenance practices, reduce schedule interruptions, and minimize unscheduled part removals. It offers a broad exposure to different airplane models, a range of airplane systems, access to subject matter experts across the company and direct interaction with operator engineers and other customer roles as you contribute to improving the airline experience and mitigating schedule interruptions experienced by the flying public. This position requires the ability to communicate complex technical issues with a large variety of audiences, to work with a group of engineers and non-engineers, and to apply airplane level thinking to a variety of technical issues. Come join the AHM Predictive Maintenance Engineering team to help ensure our products remain amazing into the future!
