As a Systems Engineer supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) you will: • Support vehicle builds and reconfigurations • Support test huddles • Implement testing to meet program milestones • Participate in failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards • Develop necessary documentation to support program/company test requirements (test plans, procedures, reports, etc.) • Work with senior engineers on integration issues and the development of future system capability and test • Support system level testing for consoles and vehicles.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Engineering or similar field
  • Experience leading a project
  • Ability to obtain/maintain certifications like mate/demate and torque
  • Eligibility to obtain, and willingness to maintain, a DoD Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Some experience working in a lab setting supporting electrical or system testing
  • Hands-on lab experience, including integration, console or vehicle building or systems engineering experience
  • Experience with following/developing test plans and procedures
  • Software development or testing experience
  • Active or Current DoD Security Clearance
