About The Position

UPMC Is hiring a Systems Engineer to join their Health Plan Data Services department. If experienced with a variety of database technologies, a problem solver by nature, and are looking for an opportunity that offers growth and opportunity, APPLY NOW!! Purpose: Under the general direction of management and more senior members of the team, the Systems Engineer Associate implements, maintains, develop, and supports the data integration and replication technology platform for UPMC Health Plan.

Requirements

Typically has familiarity with complex systems environments through education or practical experience.
Ability to perform basic/standard IT procedures and protocols.
This position may be required to maintain a 24/7 off hours support as part of a rotation within the team.
The frequency varies based upon the number of colleagues in the rotation.
Top 3 Skills Needed:
Core Data Engineering with focus on Extract/Loading.
Cloud Data Platform Skills (Snowflake, Azure).
Familiarity with GIT and SDLC.

Responsibilities

Responsible for showing a basic understanding of designated technologies and their use.

End user support - Complete basic documented tasks related to end user support.
