Systems Engineer/Architect
About The Position
Miklos Systems, Inc. is an Employee-Owned company providing software and systems engineering services to customers, primarily in the Federal Government. Our value to customers is our expertise in building, delivering, and supporting solutions using a disciplined, engineering-based agile approach. We are currently adding System Engineers or Architects to our team to support multiple projects as our customers refactor their custom software applications to the AWS and Azure clouds. Our approach uses a micro-services architecture combined with our deep understanding of the business area to provide rapid build and deployment of solutions. The Systems Engineer will partner with customer experts and the software development team to implement mission specific solutions across the IT applications, infrastructure, operations, and security domains.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Delivering software projects
- Demonstrated Agile systems development
- Developing and managing plans and success measures
- Working with cloud-base projects
- Effective (verbal and written) communications of technical concepts and project plans

Responsibilities
- Plan and orchestrate the development and transition of prototypes to technology solutions
- Participate in the identification of the customer’s technology problems, gaps, and risks, then architect scalable solutions for the enterprise
- Lead the evaluation of emerging technologies and recommend changes to requirements
- Gather and analyze system requirements in the context of best practices
