The Systems Engineer, Applied Meteorology works within Pattern’s Meteorology and GIS department to develop and deploy advanced analytical tools, data services, and automated workflows that improve efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making across the full asset and portfolio lifecycle. The role delivers technical solutions that align with commercial objectives, elevate process maturity, and ensure high-quality integration of meteorological, geospatial, and market datasets into standardized workflows supporting solar, wind, transmission, and energy systems planning functions. Reporting to the Technical Director, Applied Meteorology, the Systems Engineer builds decision-support systems that leverage state-of-the-art tools, modeling, and reporting to deliver products and services that create positive company economic outcomes.
