About The Position

T-Rex is looking for a fully cleared Systems Engineer 3 to work on a program in the Fort Meade, Maryland area in support of the Intelligence Community. Responsibilities: Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Cloud Architecture/ Cloud Engineer/ Platform Engineering (especially in AWS)   AI/ML system design and implementation High-level understanding of the AI lifecycle (development, training, inference, monitoring) Experience with ML pipeline development, model deployment, and DevOps/MLOps Experience with Amazon SageMaker is a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a variety of stakeholder groups, ability to proactively engage with these groups to understand requirements and inform system architecture decisions System security and networking (particularly the implementation of system security on classified systems) Data engineering and data lifecycle management

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with FSP security clearance is required.
