About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing the performance and security of large-scale networking infrastructures. You will focus on system programming and management while collaborating with diverse teams to implement innovative solutions. Your efforts will directly support mission-critical facilities and drive the continuous improvement of technical operations. Your impact will be felt across corporate and governmental users as we advance our capabilities and explore emerging technologies. Accountabilities Assist with the analysis, evaluation, engineering, and implementation of system improvements, optimization, and deployments. Develop and implement designs for large, complex multi-site data center infrastructure and virtualized environment solutions. Document designs, and changes to infrastructure environments including physical/logical drawings and engineering design plans. Implement, test, and operate large complex data center and virtualized compute, storage, and network environments. Perform security updates to hardware and software to ensure the security posture across all systems. Research, prototype, and develop emerging technologies by collaborating with industry partners.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 5+ years of progressive experience.
Experience developing and implementing integrated hardware and software solutions.
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with executive leadership.
Demonstrated experience in performing technical cross-training and coaching of junior colleagues.
Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio is a plus.
