GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Engineer - Level III / Senior Network Architect; SME in Site-to-site and Remote Access VPN for our NIH-CIT Proposal. This position will be located in Rockville, MD and will be a hybrid role. The SME role's responsibilities include: Coordinate with the Section Manager to evaluate, design, and test architecture designs and services from the roadmap backlog Lead the transition of user accepted designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams Provide subject matter expertise in Site-to-Site VPN Provide subject matter expertise in Remote Access VPN The Network Architecture Section responsibilities include: Strategically plan, architect, design, engineer, develop, test, implement, modernize, and enhance the functional capabilities, capacity, and performance of the NIH Network and TIC Services in alignment with NIH future state architecture objectives Software and hardware installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance Team with the Security Section to achieve security architecture requirements Maintain technical architecture documentation Troubleshooting and problem resolution Change management Support resources responsible for security implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation Strategic & Transformative planning for network architecture services
