About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to
deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of
existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses,

As a systems development engineer, you will work with a wide variety of
functional groups and will be involved in the design and implementation of
software systems for phased array antennas validation and test, as well as
overall system integration:

Requirements

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Nice To Haves

• Experience with distributed systems at scale

Responsibilities

• Develop tools for characterizing antenna RF and system performance.
• Develop software and test automation to support production test stations.
• Support electrical and software bring-up, debug of new hardware.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized validation and verification software.
• Plan, develop and implement environmental test activities for phased array antennas.
• Implement DSP FPGA firmware to map high-level algorithms from Matlab or C to architecture-specific code.
