About The Position

As a Systems Developer, you will be part of a team responsible for the application design, development, testing and deployment of Identity Management Solutions for Strategic Education. A Systems Developer must have skill in converting specifications and procedures of moderate to high complexity into application and software solutions. This person will also have experience developing in all tiers of an application and must possess knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques and patterns and how to apply them in SailPoint Identity and ForgeRock IDM / PingIDM. This person writes and communicates moderately to complex technical specifications, communicates well both verbally and in writing, can document code and assist in creating technical specifications from business requirements and participates in the ongoing development of technical best practices and overall team development.

Requirements

  • Four plus (4+) years experience of identity management solutions / applications.
  • Experience in SailPoint Identity Now (preferred) or SailPoint IIQ.
  • Experience in ForgeRock IDM / PingIDM development is a plus.
  • Two plus (2+) years experience with the following required: java / java script or similar scripting language.
  • Experience with the following is preferred: Jave, Java Script, Powershell, Jira, Git, Postman, scripting languages, Linux command shell, Google Cloud Platform, SQL development and Active Directory and/or Entra ID.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain integrations of external systems with SailPoint Identity Now, Request Center.
  • Troubleshoot user account and access issues in SailPoint Identity Now and external systems.
  • Maintain integrations and troubleshoot user account issues in ForgeRock IDM / PingIDM.
  • Recommend technical approaches that will help to deliver reliable and efficient code.
  • Work within a fast-paced development environment.
  • Provide support of development after implementation.
  • Perform analysis, development (coding), and implementation of custom integrations.
  • Collaborate with project team members and other information technology colleagues and business partners.
  • Participate in and develop new releases, perform and document QA of changes, create test plans, and assist in creating implementation plans.
  • Troubleshoot and recommend solutions to existing production issues.
  • Create end-user documentation.
