You will architect and deliver scalable Oracle APEX solutions, driving the migration of legacy Oracle Forms & Reports to modern, high-performance platforms. Working across enterprise systems and databases, you will define technical strategy, establish best practices, and ensure secure, robust solutions. In an agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and drive continuous improvement in development standards and delivery excellence. You will own the full software development lifecycle—from requirements and design through deployment and optimization—helping advance our mission of serving science. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8+ years’)
  • Hands-on Oracle APEX development experience (5+ years)
  • PL/SQL and SQL tuning experience
  • Oracle Database architecture experience
  • Experience leading large-scale migration or modernization initiatives
  • Proven experience in technical leadership or architect roles
  • Experience with databases and data modeling (SQL, NoSQL)
  • Proficiency in API development and integration (REST, SOAP, microservices)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control
  • Expertise in agile development methodologies
  • Experience with enterprise systems integration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience guiding and supporting other developers
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Oracle Forms & Reports is preferred

Responsibilities
