The Systems Designer I position is an entry level Designer position, responsible for learning and performing basic low voltage systems design related tasks under the direct guidance of upper level Design/ Engineering staff, as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Director or Vice President.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of Low Voltage Systems installation experience, and general background and/or interest in learning and applying Low Voltage systems design principles
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in Electrical Technology
  • BICSII technician or NICET II certified, combined with demonstrated design aptitude preferred
  • Travel: 5-10%

Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision, assists in the preparation of designs for low voltage electrical system installations.
  • Interacts with Engineering, Design and CAD support staff on a daily basis.
  • Checks CAD-produced drawings against design input for accuracy.
  • Consistently follows Faith Technologies established design standards.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
