About The Position

Imagine being the person who keeps the systems behind healthcare secure, stable, and always running. As a Systems & Cybersecurity Engineer, you will help protect and optimize the infrastructure that supports CareATC health centers nationwide. You’ll work across core platforms including Active Directory, Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, Windows Server, virtualization, backups, monitoring, and endpoint security. Working closely with service delivery, engineering, and infrastructure teams, you will strengthen system reliability, enhance security, and modernize how CareATC delivers technology. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, improving security posture, and automating systems for scale. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Candidates must reside in the Tulsa metropolitan area or surrounding communities and be able to work onsite as part of the hybrid schedule. Candidates who do not meet this location requirement will not be considered. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration, systems engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V or similar)
  • Knowledge of server infrastructure, backup solutions, and disaster recovery
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting or automation
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong customer service orientation

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support core infrastructure services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD) identity services and access management
  • Administer and optimize virtualization platforms (Hyper-V) and server environments
  • Implement patching, system upgrades, and secure configuration standards
  • Support monitoring, logging, and incident response to maintain system reliability and security
  • Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery testing
  • Support infrastructure security tools, including EDR, vulnerability scanning, and patch compliance
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, maintain documentation, and runbooks
