About The Position

Primary Purpose: The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the Finance and Procurement organizations to identify and document business requirements and evaluate Oracle solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure the successful implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle-based business solutions. This role is critical in supporting and optimizing Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP—with a focus on automation, accuracy, compliance, and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, specifically within finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Projects and Procurement.
  • Demonstrated success as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a focus on financial process analysis, workflow design, and system implementation.
  • Experience supporting and optimizing ERP systems for Finance departments, including during financial close and audit cycles.
  • Experience managing system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment support.
  • Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but is not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks, work both independently and in a team environment, and grasp concepts quickly.
  • Bilingual Spanish beneficial.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
  • Considerable knowledge of modern, professional accounting principles and practices
  • 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, project management, and platform development
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Must be able to work with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Strong planning, organizational, presentation, report writing and overall management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Finance SME for NetSuite ERP, supporting modules such as GL, Cash, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement and Revenue.
  • Work closely with Oracle technical teams, developers, and consultants to design and configure Oracle modules that meet business requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains positive relationships, and works extensively with Management, Business Process Owners, and system Super Users in developing and enhancing information systems solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT, Procurement, and Finance to prioritize and manage a backlog of system changes and enhancements.
  • Evaluate current financial processes to identify pain points and opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous optimization of financial systems and workflows within Oracle Fusion.
  • Work closely with Oracle technical teams, developers, and consultants to design and configure Oracle modules that meet business requirements.
  • Support testing activities including preparing test cases, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating system functionality.
  • Assist in project management activities such as status reporting, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
  • Stay updated on Oracle product releases and industry best practices to recommend system improvements.
  • Provide post-go-live support and track system feedback and issue resolution.
  • Support and develop network of subject matter experts, including trainings, documentation, and testing support and guidance
  • Map and document financial business processes in collaboration with stakeholders, as necessary
  • Develop user-friendly training materials and conduct training sessions for Finance Procurement teams.
  • Maintain internal and external documentation, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide post-go-live support and track system feedback and issue resolution.
  • Ensures compliance with internal control environment.
  • Speaks clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and active listening.
  • Maintains a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
