About The Position

Objective of the Position: This position ensures implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management Systems within Business unit, in compliance with internal and external standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering or closely related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Quality control environment preferably automotive. Must have two years of experience directly related to QMS.
Certification as IATF 16949 internal or lead auditor
Hands on experience in 8D methodology and Root Cause Analysis
Training and experience in AIAG Core Tools and Quality Management Systems (QMS), and IATF 16949 requirements
Ability to travel domestically or internationally by car or plane
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in SAP and SharePoint
Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
Analytical- Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures.
Business Acumen- Understands business implications of decisions.
Knowledge of continuous improvement of products for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

The implementation and maintenance of the management system in compliance with internal and external requirements.
Lead annual audit planning for the facilities in the Business Unit North America
Monitors execution of internal audits and manage external IATF system audits with certification body
Monitor and report timely implementation of findings, root cause analysis and corrective actions as well as auditor qualification of all internal auditors in the SharePoint solution
Ensures all management system documents are properly maintained in the SharePoint Document Management System for the Business Unit North America and support all employees in the creation of new procedures and standards
Manage QMS implementation in new plants within the Business Unit North America
Train employees in Management System as well as applicable QMS software solution
Support quality tasks within the Business Unit North America
Manage QMS related Risk assessment meetings, manage annual Management Review for Business Unit
Ensure that standards & work instructions are audited at BU production facilities with the aim that all standardized work sheets and related measuring equipment are available and meet requirements (e.g. GR&R studies experience preferred).
Review quality indicators for all BU facilities and ensure that the quality indicators are well tracked and they have positive trends
Participate in the development of global guidelines and maintain close contact with the global quality team.
Escalate major audit deviations to Director, Quality
Review and approve corrective actions from third party audit findings for all facilities within BU prior to submission to certification body
Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements
Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements
Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality
