About The Position

Whether you're a night owl or early bird - if you prefer to problem solve rather than just troubleshoot , you'll fit right in with our Systems Assembly Technicians. Our technicians can (and do) a little bit of everything. Using a variety of skills from plumbing to electrical and everything in between, you'll be part of the final assembly team responsible for bringing JST designs to life.

Requirements

  • Mechanical skills working on complex systems (e.g., automotive mechanics, HVAC systems, diesel mechanics, etc.)
  • Electrical and plumbing knowledge
  • Mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Safely lift and carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Walk, stand, and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
  • Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, grasp, and use hand/power tools.
  • Work effectively and contribute within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately interpret engineering drawings and perform plumbing, wiring, and assembly to meet functionality and specification requirements.
  • Utilize a computer and shop floor control software to accurately track job labor and material usage.
  • Troubleshoot components at startup and maintain a low failure rate.
  • Competently use measuring instruments and diagnostic devices while contributing to JST's quality program by following established procedures.
  • Understand and follow company safety and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain stewardship of equipment and contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of the shop.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as required to support manufacturing, engineering, quality, and quoting departments.
