American Systems Corporation is seeking an experienced Systems Architect/Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical leadership in the sustainment, security, and accountability of IT systems for our US Government customer at China Lake, CA. This is a part-time, hybrid position that requires on-site presence at China Lake once or twice a month. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Solaris Operating System (11.3 and higher) with Trusted Extensions (TX) and will be responsible for the expansion and modernization of the system transport network. In this role, you will analyze and provide advice concerning network, systems, and data resources, ensuring that system designs comply with all applicable DoD, Navy, and Government standards. You will conduct technology research and assessments, providing implementation recommendations to meet operational needs. Additionally, you will plan, design, and execute technology updates and provide technical direction to program technical staff and engineers.
