About The Position

You will be the Systems Architect Staff for the Mission Assurance Team which is responsible for defining and delivering anti‑tamper system architectures that protect critical programs. What You Will Be Doing: As the Systems Architect Staff you will be responsible for leading the technical design, development, and integration of anti‑tamper (AT) solutions across AMMM programs. Your responsibilities will include: - Define AT system architectures, develop attack/countermeasure trees, and translate requirements into complete system solutions. - Lead internal and external design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and ensure compliance with design standards and contractual obligations. - Collaborate with program engineers, suppliers, and government customers to resolve technical anomalies and drive security‑focused trade studies. - Maintain and evolve models, guidelines, and documentation for current and future AT system development. - Communicate progress, issues, and achievements to the Mission Assurance Senior Manager and Director, and provide inputs to USG policy and proposal efforts. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technical Discipline.
  • Experience planning and leading the technical efforts associated with program capture efforts, system/subsystem requirements development, program Hardware and Software Development, and Requirements Verification/Validation activities.
  • Experience communicating technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership, and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
  • Experience/familiarity in dealing with the Engineering & Technology functional organization.
  • Generally has 5+ years of related experience and may have a post‑secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
  • Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidate must be available for occasional domestic travel (up to 25 %).
  • Familiarity and knowledge of Avionics Subsystems to include Communications, Navigation, Identification, Infrared Search and Track, Core Processing, Electronic Warfare/Protection and Radar.
  • Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) implementation and best practices.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple high‑priority tasks.
  • Experience evaluating vulnerabilities/threats/risks to a system/subsystem.
  • Reverse Engineering background.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to represent LM to customers, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems and work independently without direction, while ensuring alignment with program objectives.
