We are looking for experienced System Architects to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast paced, challenging, and rewarding experience in which you are able to provide solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within this community.

  • Deliver engineering services for network infrastructure and enterprise computing infrastructure.
  • Design solutions for multifaceted applications and IT systems using Cloud technologies.
  • Create and maintain architecture design and standards within the models.
  • Develop high-level system specifications and provide Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) support.
  • Collaborate with Engineers regarding design solutions and evaluate current and emerging technologies.
  • Develop future technology and architectural advancements to support the customers' vision and goals.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science preferred.
  • Sixteen (16) years of relevant experience and education.
  • Significant experience with Python, Java, Automation, and Systems Design.
  • Deep understanding/experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle).
  • Ability to provide strategic direction, roadmap, and standards.
  • Knowledge of modern software languages (e.g., Python, Bash Scripting, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Salt, Terraform, Chef).
  • Knowledge of Containers (e.g., Dockers, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Knowledge of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) on iterative development projects.
  • Knowledge of web applications and frameworks (e.g., Ruby, Rails, Django).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of Agile development principles.
