About The Position

The Systems Architect - MS Full Stack Developer at the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is a critical role responsible for providing high-level technical expertise and leadership in the analysis, planning, development, integration, implementation, and coordination of information systems. This position focuses on guiding the evolution of systems architecture, ensuring quality, and enabling innovation within the IT operations of OHA and the Oregon Department of Health Services. The role is fully remote, requiring candidates to reside in the United States, and is part of a team dedicated to delivering technology solutions that support health and well-being initiatives in Oregon.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of information systems experience in Microsoft Full Stack Development.
  • An Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field, along with 5 years of experience in Microsoft Full Stack Development.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with three (3) years of experience in Microsoft Full Stack Development.
  • A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with one (1) year of experience in Microsoft Full Stack Development.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience with software development technology stacks: .NET, Angular, IIS, Azure DevOps, Microsoft OS, and SQL Server.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL, T-SQL, and SSIS development.
  • Experience using modern source control systems and testing practices such as ADOS, Git, SonarQube, and Burp.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Ability to work with little guidance and establish personal work priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, plan, develop, integrate, implement, and coordinate operations of information systems.
  • Provide technical direction for software systems and guide the evolution of systems architecture.
  • Develop and maintain solution documentation and share knowledge within the agency.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams consisting of Application Development, IT operations, and Business staff.
  • Assist with the development of business use cases, user stories, and agile software development requirements.
  • Identify, address, and remediate security vulnerability findings.
  • Support, monitor, and maintain Custom and COTS based systems in production use.
