About The Position
Schneider Electric is seeking a Systems Architect Expert (SAE) to support the US End User Automation products sales team, focusing on Water/Waste Water opportunities. The SAE will work closely with sales teams to provide technical pre-sales support and drive sales growth in the assigned geography. This role is pivotal in engaging with customers' ecosystems, creating demand, delivering compelling presentations, and demonstrating Schneider Electric's offerings. The ideal candidate should have a passion for automation technology, commercial acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively in group settings. Knowledge of AVEVA software and PLC/PAC is advantageous. The Systems Architect Expert will provide pre-sales automation technical support, visit customers, support End Users and Consulting Engineers, promote Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Architectures, create demos, and serve as the main technical customer interface for systems and solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of industrial automation, including the ability to build optimized automation architectures and solutions that fit the needs of the customer, including channel partners such as System Integrators. The SAE will also gather detailed customer requirements, define the best implementation, and select appropriate architectures and hardware. In addition to technical expertise, the role demands solid commercial aptitude, allowing the SAE to be the technical backbone of the sales team, understand customer needs, and propose optimum architectures. The candidate should be able to communicate the strengths and weaknesses of particular solutions clearly and convincingly. The role also emphasizes teamwork, as the SAE will belong to a community of experts where they can learn from and teach others.
