About The Position

What you will do: The successful candidate will be a results-driven engineer with a proven ability to independently execute complex technical tasks and lead both launch and pre-launch projects. They will establish clear project timelines, coordinate resources across multiple engineering functions, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. Additionally, they will communicate technical topics effectively to drive alignment, ensure cross-functional buy-in, and support seamless project execution. How you will do it: Requirements analysis activities specific to pursuit projects regarding electrical performance, mechanical constraints and system context in the customer vehicle architecture and assigning requirements to all development domains. Define the system architecture, including sizing and cell selection, as well as electronic hardware based on core product portfolio. Own sub-systems support requirements such as Functional Safety, OBD2, process compliance and Software. Provide clear technical directions to designers, engineers, suppliers, and support personnel. Foster collaboration across multi-location engineering teams to deliver integrated systems that meet all requirements. Lead and participate in the specification and design of battery components - mechanical, electrical, software, - balancing trade-offs to achieve optimal system performance. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to review and apply design for manufacturability (DFM) principles, ensuring that all components, sub-systems, and the overall battery system are engineered for cost-effective and scalable production. Present the system concept to the customer and discuss/negotiate on requirement deviations. Own and optimize the overall system Bill of Material, driving cost reductions and value engineering initiatives. Support in planning the engineering, as well as test and validation efforts. Lead the prototype builds to ensure they are targeted to and meet the testing intent and customer sample requirements.
