About The Position

Designs, builds, tests, migration coordination, training coordination and customer support (including troubleshooting) for the product development that supports Summa Health. Requires deep dives into the workflows of Summa Health. Additionally, knowledge of various software functionality and maintenance needs are required to maintain the electronic environment of specified service lines. Performs independent prioritization of system initiatives in a collaborative team environment. Provides ongoing mentorship with team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Certification for all relevant applications is required upon hire.
  • Five (5) years of healthcare experience with application support required.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with workflows to foster problem solving.
  • Capability to understand the application functionality and how it relates to departments while making recommendations for integration into operational flow.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-team discussions and collaboration and present solutions in an organized manner.
  • Mentors team members to set priorities and utilizes problem-solving techniques with minimal direction and appropriate collaboration.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new situations and changing environments, including leading the change.
  • Light to Moderate work
  • Standing and/or sitting for long periods of time
  • Up to 50 pounds of lifting on occasion.
