About The Position

The Systems Application Analyst is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining images for client devices across the enterprise. The Analyst will manage image lifecycle including updates, patching, and version control. The Analyst will automate image deployment using tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), or Microsoft Intune. The Analyst will implement enterprise policies, DoD security baselines, STIGs, CS Benchmarks, and other required configurations for supported images. The Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors on integrating drivers, applications, security configurations, and other settings into images. The Analyst will be responsible for participating in hardware review, refreshes, and rollout strategies and planning. The Analyst will be responsible for completing support and request tickets for client services groups. The Analyst may propose solutions to management based on future needs and current usage, and configurations to enhance effectiveness. The Analyst will prepare and ensure that appropriate documentation exists, including operational instructions. This position may perform work outside of normal business hours and on weekends, and provide rotational on-call support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of relevant exempt experience.
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate.
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate.
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience.
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience.
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience.
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience.
  • A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Nice To Haves

  • This position requires a Secret level security clearance.
  • Prior experience designing, building, and maintaining Windows OS images using tools like MDT, SCCM/MEM, or Intune.
  • Prior experience packaging and testing applications for deployment.
  • Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI configuration and driver injection.
  • Understanding of enterprise networking, domain join processes, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
  • Experience using programming scripting languages such as Windows Powershell, Windows Batch Scripting for automation and customization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and fit with the company's system architecture standards.
  • Establishes and documents system parameters and formats.
  • Ensures hardware and software systems compatibility.
  • Coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
  • Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling.
  • Manages image lifecycle including updates, patching, and version control.
  • Automates image deployment using tools such as MDT, SCCM, or Intune.
  • Implements enterprise policies, DoD security baselines, STIGs, and other required configurations for supported images.
