About the position

The Systems Application Administrator is highly motivated and detail-oriented. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for the management and configuration of Cityworks and KloudGin systems. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, enhancing user experience, and optimizing processes to support the department's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and configures Cityworks, KloudGin, and other operational systems to meet the needs of Company Operations
  • Customizes workflows, forms, and templates to optimize system functionality
  • Sets up, manages, and revokes user rights
  • Provides technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to system functionality and usability
  • Provides technical support and troubleshoots application-related issues
  • Monitors system performance to ensure applications are operating efficiently
  • Applies application updates, patches, and upgrades
  • Develops and maintains application-related documentation, including manuals and policies
  • Coordinates with vendors and external support groups for resolution of software issues
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and issue escalation with vendors
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill application requirements
  • Documents system configurations, workflows, and operational procedures
  • Creates reports, performs queries, and creates validation tools for end users and supervisorial staff
  • Ensures compliance with security policies and protocols for application systems

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Three or more years of directly related experience required
  • Professional certification (e.g., Application Administrator Certification) is a plus
  • Proven experience as an Application Administrator or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Cityworks or KloudGin is highly preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional or interdisciplinary teams
