Requirements

  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.
  • Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Knowledge of Windows 11 and Apple operating systems (Sequoia macOS and higher, and iOS).
  • Experience in a) creating and editing Group Policies to administer Users, Groups, and Computers via Active Directory and b) deploying patches and software in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and c) knowledge and experience in creating and editing MDM profiles to administer Apple devices via applications such as Jamf.
  • Must have knowledge of Apple operating systems (macOS and iOS) and Windows 11.
  • Requires knowledge of administrating users, groups, and computers using Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Jamf.
  • Understands and has experience with coordinating inventory (purchasing, maintaining, determining useful life, replacing and deprovisioning).
  • Demonstrates the ability to assist others in completing work assignments.
  • Oversees and coordinates multiple simultaneous projects, prioritizing external needs with own work load.
  • Creates documentation for procedures, training, policies, and general communication.
  • Works collaboratively with other members in the College and across the campus, in person and remotely.
  • Can learn, adapt, administrate and incorporate new or updated operating systems into existing infrastructure.
  • Can maintain currency with changes in technologies and sees potential application to college environment.
  • Communicates effectively both orally and in writing, and can convey pertinent changes (to equipment, operations, campus guidelines, etc.) to relevant constituents via multiple methods.
  • Exhibits strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
