Serves as an application specialist who uses existing knowledge to develop and deliver quality analytics and insights to support the organization's ability for effective decision making for patient care, patient safety, education, and research.
Works closely with users to provide stable and reliable system analytics.
Communicates status of current projects or problems.
Acts as the second level support for the analytics projects assigned.
Assists trainers in the development of training material related to supported analytics applications.
Provides regular maintenance to dashboards, reports, metrics and all other analytics components.
Performs analysis, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system analytics issues.
Maintains system documentation and audits.
Completes change control process.
Tests new functionality in releases to determine application analytics viability and integrity.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.
Basic proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data visualization tools.
Strong background in Epic and/or non-Epic reporting and analytics.
Basic and fundamental understanding of healthcare system processes.
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
Formal education may substitute for work experience on a year-for-year basis.
