The Technical Systems Analyst is responsible for assisting stakeholders and customers with information system issues (40%), system analysis, implementation, and project management (50%), and coordinating technical resources while supporting management and staff in policy development, training, and regulatory compliance (10%). This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and security of computers, databases, and networks, while also assisting the Information Systems team with assigned projects and tasks. The analyst will also serve as a backup for Information Systems staff as needed. Job Duties and Responsibilities Technical: Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement projects and safety standards. Treat customers, peers, and other stakeholders with kindness and respect under all circumstances. Assist with implementation, maintenance, and support of clinical information systems. Provide hardware, software and functional requirements when requested. Analyze processes, information use, and system resource usage and recommend improvements. Assist users with sign-on, access, software, and hardware problems. Assist in the care and maintenance of medical center facilities, equipment, and supplies. Assist and manage implementation of various software and hardware. Perform installation and maintenance of PCs, printers, and other computer hardware and software. Install, set-up, and maintain network peripherals including, but not limited to: terminal servers, modems, switches, routers, bridges, and network management devices. Create cables and install basic voice and data writing. Create databases and design tools to effectively use databases. Maintain, install, and troubleshoot telecommunications systems. Maintain, track, and update lists of issues that have been, or remain to be resolved. Be a resource for and liaison between the department and our three customers, patients, providers, and peers Provide input on the design and implementation of information systems education to our three customers. Optimize workflows, create custom solutions to improve operational efficiencies including technical support and automation of processes. EMR: Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement projects and safety standards. Treat customers, peers, and other stakeholders with kindness and respect under all circumstances. Assist with implementation, maintenance, and support of clinical information systems. Provide hardware, software and functional requirements when requested. Assist users with sign-on, access, software, and hardware problems. Assist in the care and maintenance of medical center facilities, equipment, and supplies. Assist and manage implementation of various software and hardware. Maintain, track, and update lists of issues that have been, or remain to be resolved. Be a resource for and liaison between the department and our three customers, patients, providers, and peers Provide input on the design and implementation of information systems education to our three customers. Collaborate with leadership to identify trends, optimize workflows, create custom solutions to improve operational efficiencies including technical support and automation of processes. Provide direct support to clinical, operational, and patient care teams to ensure smooth adoption and optimal use of the Epic system. Work with OCHIN and member advisory groups to implement new Epic PM and EMR features and upgrades. Participate in system build, configuration, testing, and implementation of new features, Epic Release Packs, and optimization projects. Fulfill requests for additional charting tools from the review process through follow-up communication to users. Attend relevant clinic department meetings as the Epic subject matter expert and liaison to OCHIN.
