About the position
The Systems Analyst at Wharton County Junior College is responsible for analyzing user requirements and existing procedures to enhance or develop computer information systems. Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and procedures to automate processing or improve existing systems.
- Develop new computer information systems as needed.
- Code, test, and implement procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in computer information systems or eight years of work experience in programming or a combination of education and work experience.
- Two years of experience in programming using SQL Plus, PL/SQL, and Unix commands on an Oracle or another enterprise-class relational database management system.
- One year of experience with Oracle Forms, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel is required.
- Knowledge in ODBC connectivity is required.
- Criminal background check required.
