Adtalem is the parent organization of American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Chamberlain University, Ross University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and Walden University. In our U.S. locations, we operate on a hybrid work model with three in-office days and two remote days per week. Starting Q1 2025, we will transition to a four-day in-office schedule, Monday-Thursday. This in-office time fosters creativity, innovation, communication, and stronger team relationships, supporting both individual and organizational success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• Three (3) plus years experience with various operating environments, toolsets, and methodologies.
• Ability to interact professionally with a variety of institutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Desire to grow knowledge and skill set through on-the-job training, formal classroom training, and independent research.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement efficient information technology systems and processes to meet the organization's business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and develop system specifications.
• Evaluate existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance system performance, reliability, and security.
• Oversee system testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide support to end users.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Mentor other Associate Systems Analysts on the team.
• Participate as a team member in the application services delivery group.
• Possess sufficient knowledge of business functions to effectively participate in technical analysis, design construction and implementation.
• Create solutions to problems using a structured approach.
• Test solutions against customer acceptance criteria to ensure a quality application.
• Document consistently and accurately on all projects.
• Communicate and maintain a productive working relationship with user base of product/service line.
• Report appropriate and correct status to project leadership, manager and Director.
• Improve knowledge in new technologies for approved projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
