About The Position
The Systems Analyst, Journeyman will analyze contract requirements to develop solutions using various sensors and Navy owned sensor system software. The role involves applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate solutions to customer requirements. This includes evaluating power requirements, local power availability, and any other site preparations necessary to support an installation. The position also requires developing overall system architecture, which includes a list of applicable sensors and locations for installations. The analyst will provide technical and engineering support services, working with various types of electronic/computer equipment and related devices, and may perform on-site repairs of systems. Responsibilities include planning and performing tests and evaluations of systems, installations of systems or system components, and developing work plans to ensure all equipment is tested and operational before scheduled use. The analyst will also design and develop special equipment or procedures required for calibrations or tests.
