About the position

Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for a Systems Analyst II at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The systems analyst II will ensure stable and reliable IT systems operations through strategic technology investments and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive process excellence to meet or exceed business needs and predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to enhance automation and operational excellence across the business.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve IT systems and application issues.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and resiliency of all IT systems and applications.
  • Monitor and maintain servers, storage, security hardware, software, and services to ensure availability, stability, and performance scalability.
  • Maintain IT systems documentation, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems and applications stability (KPIs) and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Manage IT systems inventory and oversee software and hardware lifecycle, addressing server and application vulnerabilities.
  • Establish and maintain IT systems standards regarding configuration and security.
  • Ensure IT governance, audit, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Monitor and maintain Microsoft Teams Telephony and Teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Windows System Administrator with expertise in Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
  • Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022.
  • Experience with Azure Administration, including servers, virtual networks, and network security groups.
  • Experience with Office 365 Administration and Licensing Management.
  • Knowledge of systems administration, computer hardware and software configuration, troubleshooting, operating systems, applications, computer architecture, and internet security administration.
  • Ability to install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and administer IT systems, servers, operating systems, and applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified or Azure Solutions Administrator) a plus.
  • Experience with Critical IT Systems and Applications: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft Teams, Hybrid infrastructure.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on building and maintaining positive relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple priorities under stress.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and detail-oriented.
