About The Position
The Systems Administrator is responsible for assisting in the installation, management, configuration, and support of the Naval Warfare Center Training Systems Division development IT infrastructure, which includes servers, developer stations, and stand-alone trainer networks. Monitors systems to ensure they are securely configured and performs patching and remediation activities to keep systems compliant with Navy IT standards. The Systems Administrator will also document system configurations and procedures, collaborate with senior administrators to enhance their skills, and contribute to the configuration and integration of various training software products, virtual reality products, media, and research support products. This position assists with test and evaluation, technical documentation, life cycle support, software integration, and Navy workstation virtualization. This role is based in the Orlando, FL area and requires full-time, on-site presence.
