About The Position

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and support of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, and other critical systems. This role involves configuring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of systems and services. The Systems Administrator will collaborate with other staff and departments to deliver optimal support and contribute to ongoing IT projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field of study with 5 years of experience
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree candidates must have 9 year of relevant experience
  • Active Top Secret Clearance or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of server and network administration.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of all systems and data.

  • Assist in implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
