Great opportunity for the right person! Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, this role is responsible for managing, supporting, and securing Veros’ corporate and datacenter IT infrastructure. This includes on-premises systems, cloud environments, datacenter hardware, and end-user devices. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and automation tools. Up to 15% travel is involved, including travel to datacenter locations. This position requires after‑hours availability for critical issues, maintenance windows, and participation in an on‑call rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced Tier 2/3 support, diagnosing and resolving complex issues across Windows, macOS, mobile platforms, and datacenter-hosted systems, ensuring high availability and minimal disruption.
  • Maintain a secure and compliant environment for corporate and datacenter assets by implementing security best practices, monitoring controls, and identifying vulnerabilities.
  • Lead provisioning and lifecycle management of user accounts, access, and identity services within Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and enterprise applications.
  • Oversee patching and update management for all Windows operating systems and server infrastructure, including datacenter-hosted systems and mission‑critical workloads.
  • Administer, optimize, and scale VMware infrastructure across corporate offices and datacenters, including provisioning VMs, managing resource pools, maintaining clusters, and executing host maintenance.
  • Support and maintain datacenter infrastructure including physical servers, storage arrays, networking devices, monitoring systems, cabling, and physical access procedures.
  • Manage device onboarding, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and conditional access through Microsoft Intune for corporate and BYOD devices.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure tenants, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure VMs, storage accounts, networking, and related services across both corporate and datacenter environments.
  • Deploy, harden, and maintain Windows Server 2016+ systems in both office and datacenter environments, following strict change‑control procedures.
  • Manage and support Veeam backup systems for corporate and datacenter workloads, including backup jobs, repositories, hardware components, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Work with third‑party vendors for escalated support, system integrations, licensing, hardware maintenance, and datacenter operations.
  • Use Terraform and other automation tools to deploy and maintain infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.
  • Support enterprise applications, RingCentral cloud phone systems, networking devices, Aruba WiFi systems, and various physical IT tasks as needed.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation and respond to after‑hours emergencies, system outages, and scheduled maintenance windows.
  • Comply with company policies, security requirements, operational standards, governance frameworks, and compliance programs
  • Report violations of policies or controls and assist with remediation.
  • Maintain understanding of internal controls related to this role and complete required training.
  • Communicate risks or concerns related to systems, processes, or controls promptly.
