The Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring all server tasks are completed in a timely manner.

  • Manage and organize various types of records in support of investigations
  • Use Scan Writer and Bank Scan to ingest data and convert bank records to Excel
  • Conduct financial analysis, forensics, attribution, and tracing of flows of value
  • Manual or automated generation of reports and forms
  • Preparation of exhibits and presentations
  • Database forensics, analysis, and modeling
  • Coordination and collaboration with investigative partners
  • Work with Special Agents on a variety of projects
  • Assist/train personnel on the use of Scan Writer
  • Analysis, optimization, or automation of work processes
  • Ingestion and processing of data from unstructured, semi-structured, and/or structured formats into a government-specified ontology as advised
  • Convert between formats of data and movement across storage media and networks
  • Automate data collection, processing, and analysis where possible to handle large volumes of data
  • Collaborate with analysts at government organizations and partner law enforcement agencies on shared data, systems, services, and tools
  • Proofread, correct, and quality control of processed or unprocessed data
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience implementing new Windows-based technologies
  • Experience with common Windows infrastructure components such as antivirus, file services, print services, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Exchange
  • Experience with personal computers and with MS Office Software Suite
  • System Administration experience in enterprise-class Windows server environments.
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Active Directory administration experience
  • Must be able to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II within 6 months of hire.
  • Must be able to obtain Microsoft certification, MCSE, or equivalent within 6 months of hire
  • Must have a Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Knowledge of the common Windows infrastructure components such as antivirus, file services, print services, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Exchange
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques involved in help desk operations, support technician operations, and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of and ability to use and install relevant hardware, software, and other equipment
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop operating systems and associated hardware/peripherals
  • Ability to work closely and cooperatively with fellow workers
  • Effective communication and time management
  • Top Secret preferred
