Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Systems Administrator to support TGS and our government customer in Carlsbad, NM. This position may require evenings and weekends as requested for server maintenance. The Sys Admin will need to complete CBFO training and briefings as directed. The Systems Administrator will Plan, coordinate, and execute with Network engineers, Service Desk and federal staff, and the IT Operations Manager to efficiently integrate tasks into regular IT operations, and to minimize disruption of IT services to customers. Candidate must be able to work independently under the supervision of the IT Operations Manager to plan, execute, document, and report on multiple projects and tasks. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all construction activities for a large construction contract. This position supervises construction entry level personnel and/or construction supervisors. Contribute to project effectiveness by assisting with the interpretation of engineering drawings, work orders, specifications and manufacturer’s technical data materials; also assist or perform diagnostics of equipment failures and recommend solutions to solving equipment reliability problems. Strong working knowledge of the application of OBO Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities. Responsible for ensuring compliance with site security requirements and reporting to Corporate FSO. Attend project progress meetings. Communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to customer, management, coworkers, clients, vendors and contractors. Improve service results by developing and implementing work process improvements in assigned area of responsibility. Make sure work is carried out in an efficient manner by coordinating daily work schedules with the customer’s operations, including personnel deployment, materials coordination and information availability. As directed, fulfill contract requirements by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the team. Ability to live internationally – assignment may last up to 36 months. The Construction Manager shall be responsible for ensuring Contractor compliance with site security requirements. Responsible for ensuring the Contractor personnel on site are adhering to the contract personnel requirements.
