About The Position

Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. We are seeking a Systems Administrator to own and maintain the configuration, reliability, and operational integrity of our IT systems, platforms, and endpoints. As a key member of the IT team, the Systems Administrator serves as a technical escalation point for the Helpdesk, partners across teams to support business operations, and contributes to technical initiatives that support Hidden Level’s mission and long-term growth.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 5+ years of hands-on systems administration experience owning server, platform, and endpoint configurations.
  • Experience managing systems across the full lifecycle, from deployment through decommissioning.
  • Hands-on experience administering Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and macOS, with working knowledge of Linux.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune, including endpoint configuration, compliance, application deployment, and policy management.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including identity, messaging, collaboration, and productivity platforms.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms, includingcompute, identity, and application integration.
  • Experience using PowerShell and other scripting or automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the configuration, operation, and lifecycle of computer systems and services across on-premises and cloud-based environments.
  • Implement, maintain, and govern desktop and laptop system configurations aligned with established standard and security baselines.
  • Administer system configuration and management platforms, including defining standard configurations, and maintaining documentation, and enforcing operational consistency.
  • Implement and maintain system configurations related to access control, patching and updates, endpoint protection tooling, and system hardening.
  • Administer the Microsoft 365 environment with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Intune, including endpoint configuration, device compliance, policy enforcement, application deployment, and lifecycle management.
  • Support and administer Microsoft 365 services including identity, Exchange, Teams (video and voice), SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Administer asset and endpoint management tools, including device inventory, configuration enforcement, lifecycle management, and decommissioning.
  • Deploy, administer, and maintain physical and cloud-managed servers and virtual machines.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability, responding to operational issues to ensure reliable service delivery.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for the Helpdesk, supporting complex issues, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to support department-owned systems and deliver cross-functional technical projects.
  • Contribute to system improvements, standardization efforts, and operational maturity initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve IT documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
