You'll be the go-to person for our internal teams, troubleshooting issues, maintaining systems, and ensuring everyone has what they need to do their best work. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1 year of hands-on experience with Linux server administration
  • 1–2 years supporting a mixed desktop environment (Windows and macOS)
  • 1–2 years managing virtual servers and desktops
  • 1–2 years of basic networking administration experience
  • Experience with SSO/identity management platforms (Okta, JumpCloud, or similar)
  • Experience administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 (user management, security policies, groups, and permissions)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals – endpoint protection, phishing awareness, access controls, patch management, and incident response basics
  • Strong proficiency in productivity tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or Google equivalents)
  • Clear communicator who can translate tech-speak for any audience
  • Self-starter who's equally comfortable working independently or collaborating with a team

Nice To Haves

  • Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, Google IT Support/Security, or similar)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP or AWS preferred)
  • Experience with MDM solutions (Jamf, Intune, or similar) for managing mixed device fleets
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools or security monitoring platforms

Responsibilities

  • Keep systems humming – Maintain and support company networks, servers, and infrastructure to maximize uptime and performance
  • Be the hero on call – Support internal users (onsite and remote) across our mixed Windows and Mac desktop environment
  • Own the fundamentals – Handle backups, disaster recovery, file maintenance, and system monitoring
  • Secure the environment – Manage user accounts, passwords, and access levels in line with security policies; apply cybersecurity best practices to protect company assets and data
  • Manage identity and access – Administer single sign-on (SSO) platforms to streamline user authentication and enforce security policies across applications
  • Administer productivity platforms – Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and policies within Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
  • Empower users – Deliver system and security training to help employees work smarter and safer
  • Document everything – Maintain accurate records of IT infrastructure, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and system changes
  • Deploy and maintain software – Install, update, and support applications across Windows and Mac workstations
