You will be part of a team known for research, design and development of algorithms and devices for improving RF interferometry and playing a pivotal role in this mission. We are seeking a talented and passionate technical contributor with enthusiasm to join our team. You’ll be the appointed System Administrator (SA) / Information System Security Officer (ISSO) responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving the daily operations of a classified computing environment. You will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support independent research and development, design, and fabrication of novel radar/RF technologies. The position will include the following technical and information system security duties: Linux and Windows system administration, to include Ubuntu and networked classified systems Collaborate with engineering teams to develop, maintain, and enhance tools, libraries, and applications Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues within the Linux environment Responsible for implementation of continuous monitoring strategies including weekly audit reviews Operations consists of patching, backup, software deployment, new system builds and deployments, account management, and troubleshooting. Hardening, developing documentation, and information security control design in support of RMF certification. Support planning, integration, and test activities Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides Assist in translating objectives into architectural concepts, system and functional requirements, and develop system specifications and external interfaces Communicate solutions and concepts to engineering, scientific, and technical audiences Operate independently Be proactive in identification of problems and solutions
