About The Position

Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM.  This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

Requirements

  • Min 6 years with HS Diploma, 4 years AS/AA degree, 2 years with BS/BA degree
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with monitoring Solarwinds and/or Riverbed
  • Experience with Remedy
  • Experience with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)
  • Experience with Microsoft product suite
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and articulate problems or issues with servers and devices and report to Senior civilian or government officials.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Works well under pressure in a high tempo environment.
  • Strong proactive team player
  • Position requires 24/7, 365 shift work, includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Enterprise servers and services via Riverbed.
  • Conduct 24/7 hourly checks for core Enterprise services.
  • Monitor the health of O365 and cloud services.
  • Create reports for Senior Government.
  • Analyze, diagnose, report applications and device issues.
  • Create trouble tickets for critical core service alerts.
  • Maintain continuity log to pass critical information to all shifts.
  • Provide clear troubleshooting and reporting via the Remedy Incident management system.
  • Conduct regular phone checks to ensure device functionality and security.
  • Collect, analyze, capture metrics on Enterprise IT servers and devices.
  • If required, ability to lead a shift and be proactive in providing updates to the GEOC.
