The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Systems Administrator to perform system engineer and administration functions. This person will have 3+ years of knowledge and experience to assist in the design and planning of system or service changes to include but not limited to: Migration to cloud, Migration unto corporate resources and Consolidation of existing or incorporation of new infrastructure.

  • Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
  • Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
  • Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
  • Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
  • Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
  • Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
  • Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
  • Document inventory changes.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Proficient with Linux.
  • Minimum of 2 years Linux system administration experience.
  • Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
  • VM experience
  • Security + cert
  • Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Should have working knowledge, able to use and or support, with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools.
  • Dell and HPE Linux servers
  • Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Palo Alto firewalls
  • Ansible
  • Nutanix – VM management
  • Rubrik – data storage
  • Nomad containers
  • SALT scripts
  • LibreNMS
  • NetBox
