About The Position

Systems Administrator The Opportunity: Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We’re looking for a system administrator to support a large-scale Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) financial system. This role provides hands-on Linux, Windows, virtualization, storage, and DBA support while maintaining secure, stable, and compliant multi-tier environments. Responsibilities include system provisioning, patching, automation, performance tuning, and coordination with application, DBA, and security teams. The role also supports enterprise tools such as GitLab, Jira, Oracle OS Manager, and Commvault, and leverages AI-enabled capabilities to enhance monitoring and automation. This is an opportunity to gain experience in computing, storage, and application administration. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration using RedHat or Oracle Linux, Windows Server, Oracle OVM, or VMware
  • Experience with on-premises servers, storage and hardware installations, and cabling and racking
  • Experience with OS installation automation, including Kickstart, and SAN/NAS storage administration
  • Experience automating, installing, configuring, patching, and hardening application servers such as WebLogic
  • Experience with Shell scripting, including Bash, CSH, and KSH, and using tools such as Ansible and Python
  • Experience with networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, and VLANs
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitLab, automation workflows, and Jira for ticketing and change management
  • Ability to support 24/7 production environments
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT, CS, or Engineering field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle OS Manager for patching and lifecycle management
  • Experience with Commvault backup and recovery operations
  • Experience with server or storage-level encryption
  • Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools for monitoring and automation

Responsibilities

  • Administer RedHat or Oracle Linux and Windows Server systems supporting Oracle EBS, OAS, OAM, OUD, SOA, and other technical components.
  • Support database patch coordination, performance troubleshooting, and environment maintenance.
  • Manage virtualization platforms such as Oracle OVM and VMware, including provisioning, tuning, and lifecycle operations.
  • Configure and maintain SAN/NAS storage, including provisioning, zoning, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Automate system tasks using Bash, KSH, CSH, and Python.
  • Maintain GitLab repositories for scripts and configuration artifacts.
  • Perform OS hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance‑aligned maintenance.
  • Perform OS installation automation using Kickstart or similar provisioning methods.
  • Support networking, including switching, routing, and VLANs, and ensure system connectivity across multi‑tier environments.
  • Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation for mission‑critical financial systems.
  • Use Oracle OS Manager for patching, lifecycle management, and system compliance.
  • Support backup and recovery operations using Commvault.
  • Use Jira for workflow tracking, change management, and operational coordination.
  • Apply AI‑enabled tools for monitoring, log analysis, and automated remediation.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, and operational procedures.
