About The Position

Key Responsibilities: System Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers and systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner. Security & Backup: Implement and maintain security protocols and data backups. Ensure systems are secure from unauthorized access and data loss. Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Regularly monitor systems and servers for issues, and proactively improve their performance and efficiency. Updates & Patching: Install and configure system updates and security patches to keep all systems current and secure. Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, developers, and project managers to implement new technologies and solutions. Disaster Recovery: Help develop, implement, and test disaster recovery procedures and business continuity plans.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT role
  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux), network protocols, and server management
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Knowledge of system monitoring tools and performance tuning
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with both hardware and software
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery systems
  • Familiarity with database administration
