Requirements

  • A 4-year degree in Information Systems / related field or equivalent experience supporting computer systems in an enterprise environment.
  • 3 or more years of experience in managing / supporting systems with Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, GPO, and other management software.
  • 3 or more years of experience managing / supporting physical and virtual systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, configure, and make improvement recommendations with/for Intune, Configuration Manager, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting various operating systems - Windows, Windows Server, Android, and iOS.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash for automation.
  • Ability to send e-mails, schedule meetings, create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
  • Capable of embracing diversity and equity to ensure successful contributions towards a respectful and inclusive workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • CompTIA A+ certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of security best practices, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting various operating systems - Linux preferred.
  • Ability to create technical and financial analysis and a proposal document.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.).
  • Experience supporting systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a Microsoft hybrid-identity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to end-user calls to clarify and assist the client with problem resolution and hardware/software needs.
  • Engender the confidence of clients that work will be completed at the required level of quality.
  • Purchase or assist with acquiring approved hardware and software.
  • Follow established IT standard work procedure documentation and best practices; define new standard work as appropriate.
  • Manage/support physical and virtual systems and devices, including but not limited to laptops, desktops, tablets, and cellphones.
  • Monitor and maintain computing environment health, ensuring compliance with security and configuration policies.
  • Package and deploy software, updates, drivers, and configuration policies to endpoint and server systems.
  • Identify and correct problems caused by hardware/software failures.
  • Investigate, provision, and deploy new technologies and solutions to support business and product growth and development.
  • Document configurations, instructions, and troubleshooting guides for Systems Administrator services and supported technologies.
  • Complete project tasks as assigned following S&C's established project management methodology and processes/tools.
  • Communicate progress on project tasks, issues and resolutions to project managers and supervision.
  • Test and document system behavior, performance, and security.
  • Work with peers and clients to develop hardware/software standards and implementation strategies.
  • Work with IT Leadership to develop financial plans and budgets based on alignment with technological innovation and industry standard advancement.
