About The Position

Provides Tier III engineering and advanced troubleshooting for DDSB-managed enterprise platforms, ensuring stability, resilience, and compliance. This role designs and implements complex changes, supports modernization initiatives, and leads root-cause analysis for recurring issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline or equivalent practical experience (as permitted by the contract).
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise IT environments, with demonstrated work aligned to Tier 3 Level Systems Administration Support Services.
  • At least one: Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, or GSEC.
  • Alternate/equivalent certifications may be accepted with Government approval.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust suitability and all required system access (e.g., CAC-enabled accounts) to perform duties.
  • This position is aligned to applicable DoD Manual 8140.03 work role 451 (NIST: OM-SA-001); contractor personnel must meet DoD 8570.01-M baseline certification requirements and transition to DoD Manual 8140.03 work role requirements, including required training, knowledge, skills, abilities, and tasks, within Government-directed timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, validate, implement, maintain, and configure enterprise services and tools, including Active Directory, System Center Operations Manager, Quest, related platforms, to minimize impacts to performance and scalability.
  • Coordinate with other organizations and MTFs to support directory services operations across the enterprise and document technical solutions as required.
  • Provide advanced support for Active Directory services, including schema extensions, sites, services, domains and trusts, Group Policy Objects, and Organizational Units using approved tools.
  • Support and maintain Active Directory and Entra ID architectures providing authentication, synchronization, provisioning, and authorization for on-premises and cloud user accounts.
  • Validate data encryption services on desktops and laptops for compliance with DHA and DoD policies and support deployment of approved encryption solutions.
  • Provide installation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers to enhance efficiency of critical systems to ensure compliance of systems with applicable baseline configurations, security requirements, and operational standards.
  • Manage and monitor data encryption services, including deployment, upgrades, policy enforcement, and status reporting in line with maintenance windows.
  • Collaborate with DHA and DoD stakeholders to support future data encryption initiatives and modernization efforts.
  • Monitor enterprise system uptime using Microsoft SCOM and maintain monitoring frameworks for applications, servers, and services requiring enterprise visibility.
  • Analyze enterprise monitoring implementations and provide status reports before and after engineered remediation actions.
  • Customize monitoring rules, alerting, and reporting and produce performance reports depicting uptime and downtime indicators.
  • Maintain disaster recovery capabilities and procedures and ensure enterprise monitoring servers comply with applicable DISA STIG requirements.
  • Implement and maintain Public Key Infrastructure and Public Key Encryption services in Windows environments in compliance with DoDI 8520.02 requirements.
